The "B" Family

Getting all the children together one last time before one leaves for a mission and the other two leave town left us with one date to take photos: Christmas Eve. This handsome family pulled together during a very small window of free time to take family portraits and I'm so glad I got to be a part of it. Are they beautiful, or what?

I must admit - this shoot was tricky to get scheduled! Between the rain, the short amount of time the family would be together and my holiday shooting schedule, I didn't know if we would be able to pull it off. Luckily, we did! We found a great building on UT's campus that provided shelter from the rain the one day we could all coordinate schedules. I'm glad it worked out, because I had a blast shooting this family!

Bootcamp Results

Last Thursday, Friday and Saturday, I was lucky enough to be able to attend a photography "bootcamp" put on by Lindsay Jane Studios. Lindsay is a FANTASTIC photographer and I jumped at the chance to learn from her. We spent our days learning the best methods of posing and the best ways to capture the light that makes the models shine. I have lots of practice I need to do to make it to her level, but I'm so excited to know how to reach my potential now! Here are some of my favorite images from our model shoot. I think they turned out pretty well ;).

The "C" Family

On a brisk, bright November morning, the "C" family dropped their scarves and coats to get some awesome photographs! The Cove's perfect scenery, the family's bright smiles and the good attitudes of all involved just made for a great shoot!
