The Neel Family | Knoxville Family Photographer

Can you believe that this family drove an hour and a half just so I could take their new family photos?  After having heard that, my heart soared!  It always feels good to know that someone likes your work enough to travel so far for their own session.  These guys came to me as a referral from another client and I'm so glad I got to meet them.  So much has happened in their life recently:  marriage and adopting those two beautiful boys!  Mom wanted some photos of her in her wedding dress because she didn't have a photographer at her wedding and I was more than happy to oblige.  Thank you for the beautiful evening, Neels, and for letting me take your first family photos!

Baby Sam is one!  I've gotten to know this cutie pie pretty well through the lens. This family is another repeat customer that I just can't get enough of.  Sam's mom is a creative genius and always has fun idea up her sleeve.  On this particular day, we did some Halloween costumes, a hot air balloon set up and a cake smash!  Talk about a jam packed session!  When editing, I was able to venture away from my style just a smidge because I know her mom likes the matte, hazy edits.  It was a fun change from my normal style!

Introducing the winner of our Spring Session Giveaway!  My favorite part of this session was that they told me they prefer goofy shots to serious shots.  I'm ok with that!  We basically did serious shot, goofy shot, serious shot, goofy shot for the entire hour and it was a blast.  These boys had no problem with goofy!

The McDonald Family | Knoxville Family Photographer

This family has got to be one of my favorite families to not only hang out with but to photograph!  Mama comes whether Dad can or not and handles these two handsome boys like a superwoman.  Our sessions are never stressful, despite one little toddler giving me a week's workout every time!

  Mama is an excellent teacher, mentors other teachers and is one of the best mothers I know.  Those boys are absolutely loved and I so enjoy capturing that for them :)

The Tester Family

I really enjoyed getting to know this family one beautiful summer evening.  They were so friendly and I was ready to put the littlest one in my pocket and take her home with me!  We were lucky that we arrived after a wedding, but during the course of our shoot, I had to avoid not just one bride and her photographer but another bride and her photographer!  It was a popular day at the Oakland Mansion in Murfreesboro, TN!

Ali & Colten

This sweet, young couple  wanted some photos taken to celebrate their love and best friendship before Colten left to serve a two year mission for his church.  These two are absolute sweeties and were so much fun, really doing whatever I wanted whenever I wanted them!  They even went beyond the call of duty by accidentally laying in some dog doo doo... Oops!  It definitely created genuine smiles for my camera anytime  I mentioned it though!  Good luck you two!

The Gilday Family

I absolutely adore this family.  They've been with me since the beginning of my photography career.  They keep coming back, so I must be doing something right!  These two cuties really made me work for a smile, but with the parents and my powers combined, we found success!!!   It was so fun exploring the Riverfront with this family - I can't think of a better way to get acquainted with Chattanooga!
