Lately, I've been getting quite a bit of newborn business. That type of photography is a genre all its own that requires alot of patience, alot of equipment and a specific editing know-how. I had the first two down, but I was at a loss for editing the newborns to look so heavenly. Some people prefer the look of the newborn as he/she is and some really like the "porcelain" doll look. Just this week, I had an epiphany and figured out the porcelain look and had a fantastic time editing little Miss Kennedy's photos to reflect that knowledge. Now rest assured, whether you are pro-lifelike or pro-edited photos, I give you both when I do a newborn shoot, that way, the baby can always be remembered just as he/she was born, but you also have a more artistically styled portrait of your bundle of joy :)
Without further adieu, here's my first "porcelain" baby!
Thank you so much, I love all the pictures, porcelain and non porcelain. They are adorable! You did an amazing job.
