It never fails that when you are with the Lecaques you will be dazzled by their knowledge and their overall good nature.  I don't know that I've ever met such truly caring people.  Honesty and integrity are the two words I think of when I think of this family.  I'm so blessed to know them and to be able to document the growth of their handsome family.  They could have left Jacob here for the night and I wouldn't have complained one bit - what a sweet little guy!

This family.  Beautiful.  Kind. Intelligent.  I could go on and on, but it might get creepy.  I don't have enough kind words for this family.  They were fabulous to work with and little Elizabeth and all her chub was so endearing.  She's one I could snuggle for hours!

The last time I photographed this sweet family, they surprised me by saying they would need my services in another seven months - baby brother was on the way!  I was so excited to meet this little bundle of joy.  He and his brother could not have been born to more caring, loving parents.  You can't help but feel the love exuding from this family when they are together.  Here's baby Elias!

Sweet, sweet little Addison and her wild siblings!  I don't think this family understands what the word dull means.  Anytime I've ever photographed them, we have a party.  The boys are rambunctious with huge smiles constantly plastered to their faces, the girls are just darling and the parents are so cute.  We did have a couple of meltdowns from big sister, but even her meltdowns are cute (not to mention they make PRICELESS outtakes!!!).    Without further adieu, here are the Wells cuties!

Here is one of my favorite families.  They are yet another family that I get to see over and over again and I have made such great friends with these guys.  I so enjoy watching their family grow and watching our children develop a friendship.  This mama is SO laid back during sessions - it not only makes for fabulous pictures, but it means far less tears on everyone's parts!  This session was no exception.  Giggles were abundant, the dad was every willing and they are just gorgeous people.  Can't wait until our next session!

This girl.  Oh my goodness.  I have been so lucky to photograph this beauty, her older sister and her parents since their family first started expanding.  I have so loved watching them grow, making them smile and just enjoying their absolute sweetness!!!  Caroline's smile is so contagious.  There aren't too many babies I feel the need to squish their cheeks between my fingers, but Caroline's are irresistible!!!

I met this second cousin in my 20s and when we met, it was almost like we were separated at birth. Learning more about her via facebook has given me pangs of missing Illinois and the opportunity to get to know her better. Luckily for me, she wanted me to take photos of her cute little family while I was in the area for a wedding last month. You wouldn't be able to tell it, but this was just hours after tornadoes swept through Illinois (both of our families spent a good amount of time in our basements earlier that day) and it was windy as all get out.  The most fun part was watching this sweet baby boy be absolutely enthralled with the sound of the rustling dead leaves still hanging from the trees.  It was so fun hanging out with the Woods and being a small part of contributing to my cousin's family history records, which is what brought us together years ago

Here's another family that I'm lucky to be great friends with.  I have shared so much with this Mama - we've been through so many ups and downs together.  For this session, I felt so lucky to document the past several years of their lives, including the recent adoption of their cutie-patootie son.  Dad has recently joined the Air Force and will be sweeping the family away soon so they wanted to get some photos at the sites that mean the most to them in Knoxville.  UT's campus was a given.  Then we went to the graveside of their first born son.  To be let in to that special part of their lives was so touching.  I hope I was able to capture a glimpse of their lives in Knoxville.  Good luck, Cleghorns!  You will be missed!!!

Baby Sam is one!  I've gotten to know this cutie pie pretty well through the lens. This family is another repeat customer that I just can't get enough of.  Sam's mom is a creative genius and always has fun idea up her sleeve.  On this particular day, we did some Halloween costumes, a hot air balloon set up and a cake smash!  Talk about a jam packed session!  When editing, I was able to venture away from my style just a smidge because I know her mom likes the matte, hazy edits.  It was a fun change from my normal style!
