Adam is 8!

This handsome man is turning 8!!! Soon he will be able to be baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and his mama wanted to commemorate the occasion with some photos down in the Old City. This kid knows me and my camera well by now and is very competent in front of the camera  He's got a bright future ahead of him!

Lots of posts today! Up next: This gorgeous family! This again, was another family I connected with after being separated for several years. I last knew them as husband and wife, and this time around I got to meet their four beautiful kiddos! This session was full of laughs - especially from their second son - he was a hoot!!! He would not sit still for a portrait for us to save any of our lives, so we had to get some actions shots.  But you know, a still portrait of that cutie just wouldn't have been him ;)  This mama and daddy are sure doing a good job with those sweeties.  They rank right up there with some of the best behaved kids I've ever seen at a session!

OK, OK, I know it may seem like I'm partial to this family because I always post tons of their photos, but I just can't help it.  Their cuteness runs over.  They just can't help it so I just can't help that I can't decide on a favorite!  I LOVE my yearly sessions with the Vernons.  The laughs are always present, tickle fights always erupt and the world just feels right when I'm with them.  I'm so glad the scare they gave me about moving to Canada didn't work out - flying to Canada for portraits is much pricier than driving to Nashville! ;)

While in Middle Tennessee, I also got to see some old friends from my Murfreesboro days.  I've been privileged enough to watch this family grow through my lens.  They are growing into such a beautiful family, full of service, hard work and lots of cute, girly giggles.  These sweet girls were ridiculously easy to photograph, and easy-going mom and dad were just along for the ride!  We were able to shoot at the picturesque Oakland Mansion - it never disappoints!  Enjoy this cuteness!

This wonderfully cute family flew the Knoxville coop, much to my sadness.  However, I was able to see them again when they asked me to travel to their beautiful little town of Bell Buckle in Middle Tennessee to photograph their growing family!  I wouldn't have missed this opportunity for anything and had such a fun time with them, strolling the quaint little town, playing with those two cute, smiley girls and talking again with Mom and Dad :)  I must also add that I was pretty proud of myself this session - usually, my animal sounds don't do a lot for kids, but for whatever reason, I continue to do them at sessions.  This session, all my practice finally paid off!!!  Baby girl couldn't get enough of it and I felt quite validated ;)

It never fails that when you are with the Lecaques you will be dazzled by their knowledge and their overall good nature.  I don't know that I've ever met such truly caring people.  Honesty and integrity are the two words I think of when I think of this family.  I'm so blessed to know them and to be able to document the growth of their handsome family.  They could have left Jacob here for the night and I wouldn't have complained one bit - what a sweet little guy!

Sweet, sweet little Addison and her wild siblings!  I don't think this family understands what the word dull means.  Anytime I've ever photographed them, we have a party.  The boys are rambunctious with huge smiles constantly plastered to their faces, the girls are just darling and the parents are so cute.  We did have a couple of meltdowns from big sister, but even her meltdowns are cute (not to mention they make PRICELESS outtakes!!!).    Without further adieu, here are the Wells cuties!
