This little one was a funny as could be. Sitting still was just not on her list of things to do that day! We didn't stress about it though - we just chased her and laughed and caught those candid moments that can easily get lost as a child ages. Such a sweetie!

Year in Review
This year was a phenomenal year for us. Knoxville has really shown us the love as we've expanded our photography business from a hobby to a full fledged business. We've met so many new friends this year and have had a blast photographing old friends at the same time. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect year. We'll look back on 2013 fondly but are so excited for all 2014 is promising! Happy New Year!

The Graves Family | Knoxville Family Photographer
I hope my family grows up to be this cute some day!!! When Mama Graves contacted me and said it was time for more family pictures, I was elated. As I get to know this family, I fall more and more in love with them. They are kind, they are silly, they are laid back and you just feel like family when you're with them. This session was no exception. The giggles, sword/stick/limb fighting, and goofy comments just couldn't be contained. My face hurt from smiling so much and I was the one taking the pictures! I can't wait until our next session!

Sweet Layla! | Knoxville Family Photographer
It was such a neat moment to meet this little beauty. I met her parents when Layla was just a bean in her mama's tummy. I was able to photograph her baby bump and then watched her grow via her grandma's facebook posts. Then, a few weeks ago, I finally got to meet this sweetie! She is absolutely adorable and would do just about anything for treats, including sitting still and smiling for me ;)

The Williams Family | Knoxville Family Photographer
This handsome family braved the cold and the Christmas time rush to spend an hour with me. It's been a photoshoot in the making for years. This family purchased a session through a Boy Scout Auction I contributed to a few years ago. I so enjoyed spending that time with them and was so happy to provide them with the family photos I know they've been wanting for years. It didn't hurt that we spent that hour at beautiful Meadhaven. I could spend my life there and never want to leave!
The Wood Family | Knoxville Family Photographer
I met this second cousin in my 20s and when we met, it was almost like we were separated at birth. Learning more about her via facebook has given me pangs of missing Illinois and the opportunity to get to know her better. Luckily for me, she wanted me to take photos of her cute little family while I was in the area for a wedding last month. You wouldn't be able to tell it, but this was just hours after tornadoes swept through Illinois (both of our families spent a good amount of time in our basements earlier that day) and it was windy as all get out. The most fun part was watching this sweet baby boy be absolutely enthralled with the sound of the rustling dead leaves still hanging from the trees. It was so fun hanging out with the Woods and being a small part of contributing to my cousin's family history records, which is what brought us together years ago
