The Hursts - 10 Years!

Oh, the Hursts. They are legends in our house. My hubby has shared many a story involving these two. They all grew up together and went through so much together. That history was evident when we all met up to do the Hursts 10 year anniversary shoot. I could barely keep those three from distracting each other with their antics and when they succeeded in making each other laugh, they couldn't be reined in! I'm so glad I got the chance to get to know them better. You guys are moving back up here now, right? It was a hilarious shoot and I'm so honored they chose me to do their photos. Happy Anniversary!

Travis is so manly - this recently-home-from-a-deployment soldier agreed to my suggestion to skip, much to all of our delight! ;)

Sweet Avree

This baby girl is sweet, gorgeous and so easy going! Most babies don't last 30 minutes for a photoshoot, but Avree lasted the entire hour and I think could have kept going! Her charming smile, mile-long, curly eyelashes and over all easy demeanor made this one of the easiest baby photoshoots ever. Daddy may want to begin preparing to turn away the boys now... ;)

Jan and Geoff - Engaged!

So I'm definitely partial to these two - Jan and I go WAY back, like many-embarrassing-photos-of-us-exist back, and Geoff has definitely proven himself to be more than worthy of my best friend's hand in marriage. I was so honored that they asked me to shoot their engagement photos at the North Carolina Arboretum in Asheville, NC. To sum up the evening - we had a BLAST! They were cute, they were snuggly, they were lovey, they were giggling and just outright laughing and they were even dancing. I was having so much fun taking their pictures they almost had to drag me out of the arboretum. I wish these two the best of luck and am so looking forward to the wedding!!!
